![]() ![]() The EPS matrix wrapping abundant bacteria creates a dense and enclosed microenvironment where the acidic metabolites produced cannot be neutralised and buffered in time, thus further promoting local acidification. Insoluble EPS serves as a structural scaffold for biofilms and leads to more bacterial adhesion and aggregation. mutans can utilise its glycosyltransferase (GTF) system to decompose ingested sucrose into large amounts of glucans, further leading to the accumulation of the EPS matrix. mutans possesses multiple high-affinity surface adhesions that readily enable colonisation of the tooth surface via specific recognition. Bacterial adhesion and extracellular matrix accumulation are responsible for dental biofilm formation. mutans survives and continuously produces acids, which further aggravates the process of dental caries. Consequently, aciduricity ensures that S. mutans maintains intra- and extra-cellular buffer balance through an acid tolerance response and avoids acid damage. This acidic microenvironment is not conducive to bacterial growth and reproduction. mutans with a representative cariogenic potential to initiate dental caries. These acidic products accumulate in dental biofilms and acidify the local microenvironment to a critical pH (pH ≤ 5.5), further leading to tooth demineralisation and cavity formation. mutans relies exclusively on glycolysis and metabolises ingested carbohydrates for energy production while inevitably generating large amounts of acidic metabolites. mutans possesses typical cariogenic biological characteristics (namely cariogenic virulence factors), including high acidogenicity, aciduricity, adhesion, and exopolysaccharide (EPS) synthesis. It was a piece of Goofy Movie fan-art that gave birth to the incredible meme, “damn, bitch, you live like this?” (something which is particularly dear to me as a Goofy stan who does, unfortunately, very often live like that). There are joke-y tweets and reviews about how it is the Greta Gerwig film, Ladybird. Gatherings of the cast as well as performances of the film’s songs have a tendency to go viral. ![]() Then there are new runs of merchandise, and active subreddits where people continue to discuss the film and all its nuances. There are people doing live action remakes of songs on YouTube ( this one has over seven million views), Buzzfeed articles have been written that are genuinely called things like ‘Max From “A Goofy Movie” Is Now Insanely Hot’, when discussing a rendering of a cartoon character. In the decades since A Goofy Movie was released, it has garnered a cult following. At one point there is awkward silence after Goofy reminisces that Max used to say “I love you” to him back when he was a child. What follows is chaos, resentment and touching depictions of the angsty growing pains between parent and child. In turn, a miserable Max lies to Roxanne about why he can no longer make their date, claiming his father is old friends with Powerline. And so, troubled by the outlook for his purportedly at-risk son, Goofy insists that Max accompany him on a cross-country roadtrip to go fishing, like Goofy and his own father once did. This is a success in that Roxanne says yes when Max later asks her out on a date – but it also causes the Principal of the school to call up Goofy and tell him that his son incited a riot among his peers and, if allowed to continue on this path, Max is likely to end up in a gang and, eventually, on the electric chair. And so, on the last day before the summer break, he hatches a plan with his two best mates, PJ and Bobby, dressing up as his musical idol Powerline and crashing the school assembly. ![]() Max is constantly aggravated by his father’s embarrassing behaviour, feels desperately uncool and wants to be noticed by the girl he fancies. Can Modern Warfare 2019 live up to lofty expectations engendered by the multiplayer Masterpiece that was Modern Warfare 2? They’re designed so you can shot from every single angle and I guess they probably did this to stop ppl from camping so much but here’s the thing, now you’ve got dudes camping a corner with the BUILT IN headglitch mechanic shooting my ass through a 2 pixel hole from across the map that I could never possibly see, it’s absurdĪfter years of rehashes on the same game engine that drove Call of Duty 4, Infinity Ward has finally been reconvened-albeit in a degenerated form-to spearhead the creation of a brand new engine and a crisp retake of the Modern Warfare project. I just want a fun shooter that takes a short learning curve and actually runs at a decent quality without crashing all the time, why is that so much to ask for?Īlso need to add that all of the maps are complete garbage. The operator field upgrades are stupid, the killstreaks are dogshit (and for some reason there’s just a driveable tank killstreak), and the loads of micro transactions go further than cosmetics into play to win territory (but never as bad as any given EA game). The gunplay is mostly balanced besides a few obnoxious outliers and the depth of the weapon customization is a fresh new spin on the COD formula. This game wouldn’t be bad if the spawn points weren’t so fucked up all the time, you constantly just get shot in the back a split second after spawning. Overall I feel as if without the bads I have listed, it could've been up there with the greatest CODs of all time. They had to remake fan-favorite maps, which overall did help with the fun but lacked with originality. I know that's what they wanted and to encourage the younger fanbase but it doesn't play well in a COD game. They were just designed to play like a newcomer. I may sound like the typical COD player shitting on newer maps, but believe me, that's not the case. Nothing casual about this system and is literal work playing this game. HIGHLY strict matchmaking system forces everyone to play like you're competing for $1,000,000. It ruined the game for a ton of players who were more aggro than passive, forcing a lot of the players to play like you're afraid to move in a video game.īy far the worst of the three flaws. It can be repetitive and the metas somewhat killed half the fanbase, but before, it was great.įor whatever reason, they thought a play style similar to Rainbow Six: Siege would help with the player count of Modern Warfare. Not huge on BR games but sniping on Warzone is satisfying as hell and I feel Warzone is the most accurate in terms of bullet drop and physics. Multiplayer was struggling to satisfy the fanbase for reasons I'll mention afterwards. Take this however you want, but Warzone absolutely saved this game. Basically they didn't care about pushing the boundaries in this game. The Campaign also brings back the disturbing, gory gameplay of previous COD titles. For a man who has always known to be a badass, it fits him incredibly well. The rework of Captain Price I actually prefer over the old Captain Price (no hate towards Bill Murray). By far the best engine in a COD game to date. Incredible graphics, amazing attention-to-detail on the firearms in the game and environmentally. He would ask me about my girlfriends while gulls peered at our food from above. When I was a child, my grandfather would take me to the Clam Box for lunch by the beach. In Ace Collins’ 1996 book, The Stories Behind Country Music’s All-Time Greatest 100 Songs, Overstreet is quoted as saying that he and Schlitz were struggling to come up with the words at one point, which turned out to be the exact inspiration needed for the song. “We went in to write and he told me about the idea. “Don Schlitz had a dream about it,” he says. In an interview with Songfacts, Overstreet recalls how Schlitz was the one who had the idea for the song. This “duet” was however never officially serviced to radio and has never been available commercially. The “duet” garnered national attention, and it spread from at least Philadelphia to Albuquerque, and has been heard on radio stations in California as well.
